Private tour
MULTI-DAY PRIVATE TOUR · 9 DAYS PRIVATE
This 9-day private tour of the Canary Islands covers the three great islands of the province of Las Palmas — Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote — in one seamless island-hopping itinerary. Gran Canaria is famously a ‘continent in miniature’: pine forests, sheer ravines and a volcanic heart crowned by Roque Nublo, with the golden dunes of Maspalomas rolling into the Atlantic at its southern tip.
Fuerteventura, the oldest of the Canary Islands, feels like the Sahara adrift at sea — endless white-sand beaches, the turquoise lagoons of El Cotillo and the protected sand dunes of Corralejo Natural Park. Lanzarote is the youngest and the strangest: the Timanfaya eruptions of the 1730s buried a quarter of the island under lava, and the artist César Manrique turned that volcanic landscape into one of the most remarkable art-and-nature projects in the world — Jameos del Agua, the Cueva de los Verdes and the Mirador del Río.
We travel between the islands by ferry and short flight, staying in carefully chosen hotels — a fully private, tailor-made Canary Islands itinerary with your own expert guide, at your own pace. Nine days, three islands, and scenery that changes completely every single day.

OUR IDENTITY
“No two travellers are the same — so no two of our journeys are either. A fully personalised trip, shaped around you, is our identity.”
Every itinerary on this page is a starting point, never a script. Before you travel we get to know you — how you like to travel, what excites you, what pace feels right — and we adapt the whole journey to your type of traveller: the routes, the hotels, the activities, the meals, the rhythm of each day.
DEPARTURES & LOGISTICS
This tour can depart from Madrid, Barcelona or Seville: we arrange the direct flight to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and meet you at the airport — or, if you prefer, you can fly into Gran Canaria directly from anywhere and we begin there. Every connection of the journey is organised for you.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
THE ROUTE, ON THE MAP
DAY BY DAY
Private transfer from Gran Canaria airport. We begin in Vegueta, the oldest quarter of Las Palmas, founded in 1478: cobbled lanes, the Cathedral of Santa Ana and the Casa de Colón, where Columbus is said to have stopped on his way to the Americas. First canarian dinner — papas arrugadas, mojo and fresh Atlantic fish.
Overnight: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
The north of Gran Canaria is a surprise of banana plantations and colonial towns. Arucas with its extraordinary black-stone neo-Gothic church and historic rum distillery; Teror, the island’s spiritual heart, with its carved wooden balconies and the Basilica of the Pino; and the Caldera de Bandama, a perfect volcanic crater you can walk around, with views across the island.
Overnight: Las Palmas or Tejeda
Into the island’s centre — a landscape Unamuno called a ‘petrified storm’. We walk to Roque Nublo, the 80-metre volcanic monolith that is Gran Canaria’s symbol, with Teide floating on the horizon across the water. Lunch in Tejeda, one of Spain’s prettiest villages, and a visit to the cave-village of Artenara, the highest on the island.
Overnight: Maspalomas area
Sunrise over the Maspalomas dunes — 400 hectares of golden sand between the ocean and the palm oasis, best walked in the early light. Time for the lighthouse and the beach before we cross to Fuerteventura in the afternoon, arriving in time for sunset on the west coast.
Overnight: Corralejo, Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura at full width: the protected dunes of Corralejo with Lobos island floating offshore, the turquoise lagoons of El Cotillo, and then inland to Betancuria — the island’s tiny 15th-century former capital, hidden in a valley to protect it from pirates. Goat’s cheese tasting: Fuerteventura’s majorero is among Spain’s finest.
Overnight: Corralejo
The short ferry to Playa Blanca on Lanzarote. The Papagayo coves — a string of perfect crescent beaches under ochre cliffs — then into La Geria, Lanzarote’s astonishing wine region, where vines grow in individual volcanic-ash hollows behind stone walls. Malvasía tasting at a traditional bodega as the sun drops.
Overnight: Lanzarote
Timanfaya — the Montañas del Fuego. The eruptions of 1730–36 created a landscape so pristine that NASA studied it before the Moon landings. The Ruta de los Volcanes through the heart of the lava fields, geothermal demonstrations where the ground still burns a few metres down, and the camel-train tradition of the volcano’s slopes. Afternoon at El Golfo’s green lagoon and the Los Hervideros blowholes.
Overnight: Lanzarote
Lanzarote’s north is César Manrique’s open-air masterpiece. The Jameos del Agua — a collapsed lava tube turned into the world’s most beautiful concert hall, home to blind albino crabs found nowhere else on Earth. The Cueva de los Verdes lava tunnel, the clifftop Mirador del Río gazing across to La Graciosa, and the Manrique Foundation, built inside volcanic bubbles. Optional boat hop to La Graciosa, Spain’s eighth island.
Overnight: Lanzarote
A final morning in Teguise, Lanzarote’s serene old capital of whitewashed lanes and quiet plazas — Sunday market if the timing is right — before a private transfer to Arrecife airport. Nine days, three islands, and landscapes you will not see anywhere else on the planet.

A GLIMPSE
MAKE IT YOURS
Every itinerary we run is a starting point, not a script — and the eastern Canaries are a natural playground. Tell us what adventure you’d like to live and we’ll build it into your route: guided hiking trails, snorkeling in turquoise volcanic coves, or anything else that moves you.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Completely — it’s our identity. Before the trip we get to know how you like to travel and we adapt everything: the pace, the hotels, the activities and the daily rhythm. The same route becomes a different journey for a couple, a family with children, a group of hikers or a photographer chasing the light. Tell us who you are and we’ll shape the islands around you.
Nine days is the ideal duration to visit the three eastern Canary Islands without rushing: three to four days for Gran Canaria’s north, mountains and Maspalomas dunes, two days for Fuerteventura’s beaches and Betancuria, and three days for Lanzarote’s Timanfaya National Park and the César Manrique sites. This private itinerary links them with short ferries and one inter-island hop.
The Canary Islands enjoy spring-like weather all year round, with temperatures between 20°C and 27°C. Winter (November to March) is ideal for escaping the European cold, spring and autumn offer perfect hiking conditions, and summer brings the warmest sea. This tour runs year-round.
You can hop between the islands by boat or by plane: we combine the 30-minute ferry between Corralejo (Fuerteventura) and Playa Blanca (Lanzarote) with a ferry or short flight from Gran Canaria to Fuerteventura — whichever suits your pace. The tour can also depart from Madrid, Barcelona or Seville, with direct flights to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria arranged for you. All transfers, tickets and logistics are included.
Yes — like all our multi-day journeys, this tour is 100% private: your own guide and vehicle on each island, hotels selected for character and location, and an itinerary that adapts to your pace and interests, from hiking Roque Nublo to wine tasting in La Geria.
Absolutely — that’s what makes it tailor-made. We can include guided hiking routes (Roque Nublo, the Corralejo dunes, Lanzarote’s volcano trails), snorkeling in the turquoise coves of Isla de Lobos or Papagayo, surf lessons, boat trips and more. Just tell us what adventure you’d like to live and we’ll build it into your itinerary at the right point of the route.
